Redesigned Airline Uniforms: 3D Prototyping for Post-Consumer Waste Management

This project showcases redesigned uniforms that maximize fabric reuse from post-consumer waste. Through precise digital pattern overlays, each garment combines original uniform pieces with innovative redesigns optimized for fabric utilization. Using tools like Adobe Illustrator and CLO3D, the study analyzed reuse rates and calculated surface area efficiency. The high-resolution 3D prototypes created in CLO3D bring these designs to life, enhanced with realistic fabric textures. Airline employees evaluated these prototypes, providing feedback on their aesthetic appeal.
